Brand refresh
One.com is an international one-stop shop for everything web. In recent years, rising competition from both traditional domain providers and new website builders made it clear that the brand was starting to fade into the background. This insight sparked the need for a brand revamp to increase relevance and stand out in a crowded market.
We began by mapping the brand’s strongest assets, focusing on what was already familiar and recognizable. This revealed two key elements to build on: the logo and the signature green color. From there, we developed a refreshed brand identity, with a modular layout at its foundation. Building on this framework, we created a custom typeface to reinforce the logotype and guide the overall design system, ensuring consistency, flexibility, and a distinctive visual character across all touchpoints.
The modular system was designed to reflect the breadth and depth of One.com’s offerings. It communicates an endless mix of services that can be combined to meet the unique needs of any individual or business. To give the system more versatility and expression, we introduced two additional green tones. These expanded the brand’s visual vocabulary while keeping it instantly recognizable.
The result is a brand identity that feels dynamic, versatile, and memorable, while remaining deeply connected to its original essence.
